THE NEW SAT series offers proven tips and techniques to help high school students earn higher scores on the redesigned standardized tests, which were revised into three sections (reading, writing, and math) in March 2005. This easy-to-follow instructional guide focuses on the math section, providing an overview of the changes to the test layout as well as the new format known as grid-in. In addition to practice quizzes and general test-taking advice on time management, guessing correct answers, and effective use of the calculator, the program also covers specific geometric and algebraic topics such as decimals, ratios, square roots, quadratic equations, and more.
