Buddha Boy

At first Justin agreed with his high school classmates, the new kid at school is a freak. Michael Martin certainly doesn`t look like the other kids: his head is shaved, and he wears strange clothing--most of which is several sizes too big for him. Michael doesn`t act like the other kids either: he begs for money in the school cafeteria, prefers to go by the name Jinsen, and, strangest of all, he doesn`t seem to care what any of the other kids think of him. However, as Justin gets to know Jinsen, he develops a respect for him, a respect which slowly, almost against Justin`s will, grows into a true friendship. However, being friends with someone as different as Jinsen isn`t easy--especially when the most popular student at school makes it his goal to destroy Jinsen.
